Construction of 9.2 MW gas-fired power plant enters final stage in Kyiv region

SPP Development Ukraine has successfully completed the main construction and installation works for the commissioning of a gas-fired cogeneration power plant. This project, aimed at enhancing energy efficiency in the Kyiv region, has already reached several key milestones in a remarkably short time.

So far, the following stages have been completed:

  • Installation of 4 cogeneration gas units (CGUs);
  • Installation and connection of 4 packaged transformer substations (PTS), ensuring stable and reliable energy distribution;
  • Completion of power and low-voltage cable networks, supporting the uninterrupted operation of all electrical systems on site.

The project is now entering its final stage. Once fully commissioned, the new facility will significantly improve the reliability, stability, and efficiency of electricity supply across the Kyiv region, contributing to the development of modern energy infrastructure and strengthening regional energy security.
