Turnkey Gas Engine CHP Plants for Industrial Projects in Ukraine

SPP Development Ukraine develops and delivers turnkey gas engine combined heat and power (CHP) plants for industrial and infrastructure projects in Ukraine. We provide integrated project development, engineering, equipment procurement, construction and commissioning, with a single team responsible for project delivery throughout the full lifecycle.

CHP Project Development and Engineering

Gas Cogeneration Plant and Site Engineering

CHP Plant Sizing and Equipment Selection

SPP Development Ukraine performs technical assessment and CHP plant sizing for projects across Ukraine. Site assessment covers required electrical and thermal capacity, gas supply reliability, grid connection, integration with existing electrical and thermal infrastructure, and applicable environmental requirements, enabling an optimal plant configuration for each project.

Permitting, Gas Supply and Grid Connection

We support the permitting process, grid connection requirements and, where applicable, electricity generation licensing, as well as gas supply arrangements and technical connection of the CHP plant to the power grid.

Gas Engine CHP Plant Design and Procurement

We develop technically optimised gas engine CHP solutions for the combined generation of electricity and useful heat. Equipment is selected according to the project’s operating profile and site-specific requirements, with procurement organised from established technology manufacturers.

Detailed Engineering of Electrical and Thermal Systems

Detailed engineering covers electrical and thermal systems, generators, heat recovery equipment, control systems and other balance-of-plant infrastructure required for reliable CHP operation.

Construction and Commissioning of CHP Plants

Our team performs civil works, foundations and structural installation, followed by installation of generators, CHP systems and associated infrastructure. Commissioning includes testing, grid synchronisation and plant start-up through to the designed operating capacity.
Gas Cogeneration. Efficiency and Energy Cost Optimisation

Energy Efficiency and Cost Optimisation with Gas Cogeneration

On-Site Power Generation with Reduced Grid Losses
On-site cogeneration reduces dependence on grid-supplied electricity and associated network losses while providing reliable local electricity and heat generation.
Decentralised Gas Cogeneration for Energy Resilience
Local gas-fired CHP provides electricity and useful heat close to the point of consumption, supporting energy resilience, security of supply and operational continuity.

Economic Efficiency of Gas-Fired Cogeneration

The economic performance of a CHP project depends on the site’s electricity and heat demand, operating profile, gas supply conditions, equipment configuration and energy costs. During the feasibility stage, SPP Development Ukraine determines the required plant capacity and assesses indicative project economics and payback.
